Hourly or monthly: where the line falls

An hourly GPU is cheaper when it is switched off most of the month. Below, the number of hours a month under which the lowest published hourly rate costs less than our flat price — above it, the monthly server wins.

Hours = our monthly price ÷ the lowest published standard on-demand hourly rate for the same GPU. Where that rate wins even around the clock, it usually comes from an open marketplace of third-party hosts or with a multi-GPU minimum — the provider's page says which. Our price is a dedicated, single-tenant server with its CPU, RAM, NVMe and 20 TB of transfer included.

GPU cloud pricing: questions answered

What is the cheapest GPU cloud?

It depends on how many hours the GPU runs. By the hour, the lowest standard on-demand H100 rate among the 30 providers we checked on 15 October 2026 is Voltage Park's $1.99/h. For a GPU that runs all month, a monthly dedicated server costs less: an H100 SXM here is $1,249 a month, against a median of $2,628 for the 24 published H100 prices. Across the 10 GPUs we rent, our monthly price is 33–64% below the median published price.

How much does an H100 cost in the cloud?

On 15 October 2026, 24 providers published a price for the H100. Kept running for a month, the cheapest comes to $1,453 (Voltage Park), the median to $2,628 and the most expensive to $8,972 (Microsoft Azure). A dedicated H100 SXM server is $1,249 a month here, and an 8-GPU node $7,990.

How much do the B200 and H200 cost to rent?

B200: from $2,555 a month (Vultr, $3.50/GPU/h for an 8× HGX B200 instance) to $10,395, median $5,745 across 11 providers — $2,690 here for one B200, $18,900 for an 8-GPU node. H200: from $1,747 (Leaseweb) to $7,738, median $3,862 across 15 providers — $1,690 here.

When is an hourly GPU cheaper than a monthly one?

When it does not run all month. For the H100, the cheapest published hourly rate ($1.99) beats our $1,249 flat price below about 628 hours a month. For the B200, A100, L40S, L4, the cheapest published hourly rate is lower than our monthly price even around the clock — usually a marketplace or a multi-GPU minimum, as the table notes.
